How The Forum Works
The forum is divided by region (Southern California and Northern California) and by practice area. Each practice area has 4 sub-forums:
Referrals: Post client referral requests. Include area of law, general location, and any deadlines. Do not include client names or identifying information.
Special Appearance Requests: Need coverage for a hearing? Post the court, date, time, case type, and what you need. Do not include client names or identifying information.
Q&A: Ask and answer questions about specific laws, vehicle codes, court procedures, and case strategy.
News & Updates: Share updates on laws, new court procedures, DMV programs, pilot programs, and anything attorneys in your practice area should know about.
Community Rules
Membership
- Licensed attorneys only.
- All members are verified by California State Bar number before approval.
- Membership is and will always remain free. No fees, no subscriptions, ever.
Conduct
- Be professional and respectful at all times.
- No bashing, criticizing, or disparaging other attorneys ever.
- No solicitation or advertising of any kind.
Confidentiality
- Keep all client information strictly confidential. No names, identifying details, or case specifics that could identify a client.
- No guaranteed outcomes or definitive legal advice.
Referrals & Appearances
- No posting of fees, rates, or pricing of any kind. All financial arrangements are strictly private between attorneys.
- Referral and special appearance arrangements are solely between participating attorneys. Flock of Legals is not a party to, and bears no responsibility for, any arrangement made between members.
Enforcement
- Violations may result in immediate removal without notice.
- Flock of Legals reserves the right to remove any post or member at its sole discretion.
